In Ancient Greece the "Gorgoneion" was a special apotropaic amulet showing the Gorgon head as a protective pendant worn by Olympian deities Athena and Zeus. The large Gorgon eyes, as well as Athena's "flashing" eyes, are symbols termed "the divine eyes". In this collection we bring to life the divine eyes with precious stone elements that represent the three gorgon sisters, while two of the Gorgon sisters "Stheno and Euryale were immortal, their sister Medusa was not.
