Mascara Hacks You Didn’t Know You Needed
I am super excited to announce that we now officially offer the Grande Cosmetics Mascara! Looking for bold volume, length, lift, and separation for people to confuse your natural lashes for lash extensions? The Grande Mascara is that secret potion to elevate your eye makeup and give you the length you never knew you had! With a lash boosting formula, the mascara is infused with Sympeptide, an exclusive formula made in Italy, giving you extreme volume and length, plus healthier looking lashes from its unique peptide blend.
To celebrate our launch and to make sure you are making the most out of your mascara, here are a few mascara hacks to elevate your eyelashes.
-
Heat up your lash curler
This trick is a life changer! Take your hair dryer and lightly fan your lash curler to give it some heat, but remember not too hot! We don’t want to burn off our lashes. This is a damage-free technique to create even more curl right before you apply your mascara!
-
Use a business card
Oftentimes, when we apply mascara, the brush tends to hit our skin and create ugly streaks that are a pain to remove and can ruin your eyeshadow and eyeliner. Place a business card above your lid or beneath your water line and avoid the hassle of having to whip out a qtip to clean up streaks on your skin. Let the business card take the hit and keep your eyeshadow intact.
-
Apply mascara to both sides of your lashes
We usually apply an excess amount of mascara on one side of our lashes to make sure they’re lifted. But what we forget is mascara isn’t just a tool to lift your lashes but also slightly tint them. The darker they look, the longer they look. Using mascara on both sides means you’re not clumping mascara on one side. Applying mascara on one side of your lashes is like applying condiments to only one slice of bread, it's socially acceptable, but not as satisfying as slathering both slices.
-
Apply translucent powder to your lashes
The best practise is to apply translucent powder between the coats. Instead of clumping your mascara to make your lashes look thicker, translucent powder would do the trick in a much more aesthetically pleasing way. It even acts as a lash extension. If you apply a bit to the tips of your lashes and then mascara on top, you can see your lashes extend even longer. And it's great for shine control!
-
Wiggle and fluff!
Stop applying your mascara in a straight, upward motion! STOP DOING IT. Slowly wiggle your way up. This creates volume and spreads out your lashes.
Try out these hacks and let us know if they worked well for you!
