2021 Oscar Nominee Eyebrows!

With this pandemic, there has been a massive emphasis on self-care and how we look face up on camera. A lot of us have been rocking the pajama bottoms with a fancy top look. I wouldn’t be surprised if our fave Oscar nominees secretly throw on a pair of sweats this year since many of them will be featured virtually from the comfort of their homes. So instead of releasing best and worst dressed lists, why not emphasize how they look face up instead? As usual, let’s talk brows! Brows play the most important role in shaping the face. Quarantine has seen many trends surround eyebrows with soap brows, and brow serums. In celebration of the diverse group of Oscar nominees this year, we have put together a list of thoughts on the Oscar nominees’ eyebrows for both men and women: 

Riz Ahmed

Riz Ahmed embodies the bold classic boy brow. Basic grooming and a little clear brow gel would really flatter his face, especially with the new blonde look. A darker brow shade would make his eyes pop. 

 

Vanessa Kirby, Pieces of a Woman

I absolutely love her bold beautiful brows. The brown brow with the blonde hair is extremely flattering to her brown structure. Vanessa also has amazing natural arches. Minimal maintenance is the way to go for her brow look with just a touch of tinted brow gel. 

 

Sacha Baron Cohen

I am here for these brows! Sacha Baron Cohen’s brows are the definition of a bold dark brow. You can tell he’s had some grooming done to them which I am all for! Men take note.

 

Leslie Odom, Jr.

These brows could use a little love. Leslie has naturally sparse brows so some light tinting would do the trick, and yes men have been increasingly tinting their brows. Some shaping is needed especially underneath the brow as he is losing his face definition due to the hair growing very low. To finish it off, some clear brow gel! 

 

Glenn Close, Hillbilly Elegy

 

Overall, I love her style and her ability to just be her unapologetically. However, her brows could use a little hug with a nice warm brow tint, light tweezing, soap brow and some light powder hair strokes. This would fit her style, spunky personality, and will last all night!
